Purpose & Objective:
To promote the literacy of children who are disadvantaged and reside within the province of Alberta
How can I make a donation?
Donate Online with our button above
Books may be donated anytime!
“In kind” donations of storage space, display items such as book shelves and office items are also welcome. You can call 403-472-0988 for more information on these types of donations.
How can my business get involved?
If you have a fund raising idea, i.e., donating a portion of sales of a particular item, you will be considered a donor fund-raiser. You will need to sign an agreement of your intentions to raise funds for the Book Bank for Kids Foundation that specifies the time period over which you will conduct the fund raising. The Book Bank for Kids Foundation will promote your event to our contact list. When you have completed your project, you'll be asked to present your cheque on video for our website. We will make the video file available to you for your company’s promotion.
How much money does the Book Bank for Kids Foundation spend on administrative costs?
Many of our overhead costs are absorbed by our volunteer Board and volunteers. Our administrative costs are less than 10% of our annual revenue.
The Book Bank for Kids Foundation

Knowledge—A Treasure Never Taken Away
What is the underlying reason for outstanding success?
When you ask successful people, they VALUE education so much they seek it their entire lives.
They know knowledge about their career is an asset more priceless than gold. And unlike money, jewels, real estate, stocks - all of which can be lost or taken away - what you know is yours FOREVER.
Education can NEVER be taken away. The super successful seem to instinctively know this. So they've become perpetual students...
...always interested in learning something new
...constantly reading and listening to recordings
...seeking out information from mentors who are doers and who "walk the talk."
Those who are unsuccessful have bought into ideas that are not advancing their wealth production. Instead of investing in their own knowledge, they prefer to spend their money on cars, boats, planes, vacations, electronics, etc.
The unsuccessful are unaware that it's impossible to succeed big in any field without a lot of knowledge.
This is why encouraging children to have access to learning no matter what their family’s circumstances is key. It can begin with books. Books they can have in their rooms, around them, always there without needing to have more than the book itself. The gift of knowledge that can never be taken away.
